Lose It! has helped me lose it!
So I have this new app on my phone called Lose It! It is an app that helps you to set a weight loss goal and then gives you a daily calorie amount to meet based on what amount you are trying to lose per week. You can then track all the calories you eat, you can scan in bar codes and they have a lot of food in their database. You also enter your calories burned from exercise. I have been doing this app for about 2 months and have lost 8 pounds so far! It has been great and easy!

Bad blogger but doing great at the gym!
Well as you can tell my blogging skills have not been in abundance. I have been thinking about it and been planning to but have had a lot on my plate lately with work and life. But I have made sure I have gotten to the gym and done great! At least 3 times a week. And some of the days I did not make it to the gym I made sure to do something at home. I am averaging about 300 calories burned each visit!

500 Calories burned!
That is right! On Monday I was able to burn 500 calories! It feels great! And it was only about 40 minutes to do it! :) I definitely sweated and it was hard work, but really felt great!

Best week in a long time!
I worked out 3 days this week! I am getting back on track and it feels good! :) I did not do any classes this week but worked hard on the elliptical all three days and did some stomach and the bike as well! I may even go Sunday! :) We will see. :)
My weight has not dropped a lot not do I feel like I look a lot different - but I know I will if I keep putting in the effort. I do feel good about doing this and I know it is making me healthier! So I will keep at it. My goal is to work out at least three times a week and sometimes more! :)

A bad month - a new start!
I am not going to lie. December was a bad month. I barely worked out. It was partly the holidays, and partly sickness, and partly cold, and partly laziness! I ended up only working out 2-3 times the whole month! January is a new start. I worked out twice last week and am going tonight after work. This is a resolution. For the whole year! Not just the first couple of weeks of January!

A bad month - a waste of money!
I have only been to the gym twice this month. Partly it is due to some things going on that have kept me from free time, but mostly is is because between me and McKinsey, we have been sick for over 10 days! we both have been to the doctor and on antibiotics and she is mostly well, but I still feel only at 50%! If only I could breathe! I need to get better and get back to the gym! Help me!

Jogging stroller is awesome!
I took McKinsey jogging in the beautiful Texas weather! It was hard and I am still out of shape, but it was great! When I cannot make it to the gym, I will try to do the jogging stroller or my old interval workout!
